I know I've mentioned before that we should be eating more like 5 servings of fruits and 5 servings of vegetables a day. And I know when I said this that a majority of you went, HECK NO CRAZY LADY! You were thinking about the diarrhea you would have from all of that fruit and the gas from all of the vegetables. Well, just calm down a second. It's not as much as you think it is. Check this out!
5 servings of fruit is:
one medium banana, one large apple, and hand full of grapes.
Uh, wait Val, you said 5, don't you know math crazy lady?!
Okay, first of all, stop calling me crazy. Here is how it is broken down. Half a medium banana is one serving. A nice big sized apple is 2! See! It's not going to be as hard as you thought.
Now for vegetables.
2 cup of fresh spinach, 1/2 cup of broccoli, 1/2 cup of peas, 5-7 asparagus shoots.
See? So easy. You could eat all of that in a nice big salad!
